Data Synchronization A presentation that I did at the 4D Summit 2005. Data synchronization is the process of one or more independent data sources sharing changes so that each data source is an exact copy of the other sources. This can be done in real-time or near-real-time. Data should flow between the various data sources and be flexible enough to handle unexpected anomalies in the network topology as well as infrequent and sporadic synchronization. |
